Manhattan West CanceledLiens against real estate developer pile up halting condo progress in Las Vegas.  Economic downturn and improper construction has stopped construction on this $350 million ManhattanWest Las Vegas mid rise real estate development.

Problems arose for ManhattanWest last August. During this time the general contractor Camco Pacific replaced Apco Construction.

Joint TheaterHard Rock Las Vegas hotel new joint 4,000 capacity theater opens April 17, 2009.  The hotel is finishing construction on the concrete and steel of the open performance $60 million concert arena.

Sceno Plus, a design firm based in Montreal, designed the Las Vegas performance venue.  They’ve also had their hand at the new Aliante Station hotel casino.

M Las Vegas HotelM Resort Las Vegas is expected to open for business on March 1, 2009.  The local $1 billion Las Vegas hotel casino on 93 acres of land will have 390 rooms, nine restaurants, 90,000 square foot casino, 2.3 acres of luxurious pool, 20,000 square foot spa and 60,000 square feet of meeting areas.

Another Las Vegas Hotel Halts Construction Of Tower Due To Economy

Caesars Palace TowerAnother Las Vegas hotel halts construction of tower due to economy.  Continued drop in visitors causes Harrah’s Entertainment to stop construction on Caesars Palace’s new tower.

Today the world’s largest gaming company postponed approximately 660 new hotel rooms from its scheduled summer completion.  The decision was made due to news of less Las Vegas visitors.
