Chef Gordon Ramsay divided the kitchen in two with Virginia given the blue kitchen and Heather received the red kitchen. Each chef designed the entire dining rooms, from colors, lighting, feel and uniforms.

Virginia and Heather remodel each side of their restaurant. Chef Gordon Ramsay tells Heather and Virginia they are going to Red Rock Casino Las Vegas. The contestants and Gordon Ramsay ride to Las Vegas in a stretched hummer limo and discuss how each have done in Hell’s Kitchen. Chef Ramsay’s challenge is for each chef to prepare their signature dish for taste tests. One last customer picks Virginia’s dish for the winner. Hell’s Kitchen Las Vegas Interview With Chef Gordon Ramsay

Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

Hells Kitchen Las Vegas with Gordon RamsayGordon Ramsey interview on 6/06/06 about “Hell’s KitchenLas Vegas FOX cooking show.

The culinary competition Hell’s Kitchen Las Vegas program starring frequently agitated English Chef Gordon Ramsay debuted with a two-hour episode at 8 p.m. Monday on Fox. The show brings together 12 would-be restaurateurs in a competition officiated by Ramsay, a self-described perfectionist who has been known to, shall we say, verbally tenderize his contestants.

The winner of “Hell’s Kitchen 2,” taped in February in a Los Angeles TV station converted to a restaurant (with some segments taped at Red Rock Resort Las Vegas), will work as an executive chef at TBones at Red Rock Resort Las Vegas . The victor will also be eligible to receive a financial interest in the restaurant.

During a conference call from London, Ramsay heaped praise on Las Vegas as a culinary mecca.

“Las Vegas is the Monte Carlo of America. I have never been in a city like it that houses so many top international chefs,” Ramsay said. “It’s not a playground with a few casinos. It’s a culinary capital of talent from around the world.”

General Growth unveils Summerlin Centre Plans

General Growth Properties unveiled detailed plans for its long anticipated 100-acre Summerlin Centre Las Vegas development at northeast corner of the 215 Beltway and Sahara Avenue. The mixed-use real estate complex calls for a combination of retail shops, dining, office space and residences within a landscaped master-planned setting.

The Summerlin Centre development will feature a grand plaza called Summerlin Square that will host public events, concerts, and other community events. A north-south pedestrian street, or paseo, will run throughout the property.

Many of the shops and restaurants will be located on the first floor of low-rise buildings stretched along the paseo. An east-west street grid and “marketwalk,” intersecting the paseo at Summerlin Square, will create easy vehicle and pedestrian access.

An adjoining northern 300 acres, which includes the new 414-room Red Rock Station Casino Las Vegas Resort and Spa, will consist of 5,500 residences in a wide array of housing styles from single-family Las Vegas homes to condominiums in buildings with street-level retail stores and restaurants. About 10 percent of the Red Rock real estate will be part of the real estate development surrounding Summerlin Square.

The eastern portion, meanwhile, will contain about 1.5 million square feet of office and commercial space, including the six-story Business Bank of Nevada headquarters, which is now underway. Two five-story, Class A office buildings with street-level retail space will be built in the initial phase, totaling 250,000 square feet. More office space could be added later.
