Project CityCenter Las VegasMGM Mirage Project CityCenter in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate construction has been increased by 670,000 square feet for this mammoth real estate project, although, the the components of the Las Vegas mixed use residential and casino project were unchanged.

Because of the strong sales of the Las Vegas luxury condominiums with an expected November 2009 opening there has been revised revenues and costs estimates.

Fontainebleau Resorts Sells 20% Of Fontainebleau To Australian Casino

Fontainebleau Las Vegas Condos and Resort is selling Australia’s largest gaming operator 20 percent of Fontainebleau real estate on the Strip. The $2.8 bilion Las Vegas resort will be located on the north end of the most famous street in the world.

Fontaineblau Las Vegas condos will be developed by the Fontainebleau Resorts. This luxury Las Vegas hotel casino will be 63 storys, 3,889 suites, hotel rooms and condo hotel units with a 100,000 square foot casino.

James Packer, controller of Publishing & Broadcasting Ltd., will spend $250 million to purchase about 20 percent of the Fontainebleau Resorts LLC, based in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Homes Sales Figures And Las Vegas MLS Numbers For March

Las Vegas Homes SalesGreater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS or GLVAR reported the inventory of townhomes, condos, and single family homes for sale in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate in March, for the third straight month increased.

The Las Vegas MLS shows 21,287 in March, homes for sale on the multiple listing service, up 22.4 percent from a year ago and an increase from February. Townhomes and Condos for sale in Las Vegas real estate increased up to 6,000 condos and townhomes or 63.5 percent from last March.

Single family homes sales dropped 36.3 percent to 1,605 homes in March from the same month a year ago. Sales of Las Vegas condos were at 341 units down 47.2 percent.

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas High Rise Has Traditional Japanese Ceremony

Cosmopolitan Las VegasCosmopolitan Las Vegas Resort Casino recently held a traditional sake and Japanese blessing ceremony to mark the placement of the Las Vegas luxury condos first piece of steel. The new $3 billion Las Vegas high rise real estate project at the Strip and northwest corner of Harmon Avenue will use a total of 41,000 tons of structural steel when it is done. Almost 100 luxury condominium officials were present April 9 when a crawler crane lifted a 60,000-pound box, 50-foot-tall girder, into place.

To purify the soil Cosmopolitan Las Vegas high rise project officials placed a pinch of salt at each of the four corners of the beam. A time capsule with engineering drawings in Japanese and English, signed by executives, were placed at the base of the beam.
