Hooters Girls competition for the 10th Annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant at the Las Vegas Aladdin Casino July 25. Local swimsuit contests from around the world come to Las Vegas to compete at the Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant. Over 120 Hooters Girls from Taiwan to New York are heading to Las Vegas to compete for $150,000 in cash and prizes at the 10th Annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant.

The contestants were selected to represent their hometowns by competing in local swimsuit contests, or they were featured in the 2006 Hooters Calendar and Hooters Magazine. The contestants were selected from over 15,000 Hooters Girls worldwide who presently work in one of the 430 Hooters restaurants across the world. (more…)

Evolution Lofts, Las Vegas high-rise announced. Boulevard Properties, a Miami real estate development firm, building a new 350-foot-tall condominium tower in downtown Las Vegas. The project, Evolution Lofts, will be located on a half-acre lot at the northwest corner of Charleston Boulevard and Third Street.

Downtown Las Vegas highly touted Gateway Arts District, Evolution Lofts, Las Vegas luxury condos, is considered a landmark real estate project that will set the standard for the fast paced growth in downtown. Las Vegas Evolution Lofts will show a sweeping sail across the roof and a dramatic circular opening. Evolution Lofts will have a defining presence in the emerging downtown Las Vegas.

“We believe in the mayor and his vision for downtown,” said Len Edelman, a principal of Boulevard Properties. “Evolution Lofts Las Vegas is located in the downtown Arts District, which is quickly becoming the place to live, play and work.”

Evolution Lofts is designed by JMA, the 29-story high-rise will consist of 159 residences with 19 different floor plans. These beautiful Las Vegas homes will range from 806 square feet to 2,100 square feet, priced from the mid-$400s up to $1.4 million. The median loft sale price will be $600 per foot. Each Las Vegas loft comes with floor-to-ceiling views, balconies, hardwood floors, among other features.

Tuscany Las Vegas real estate by Rhodes Homes, a Nevada golf course community, showcases a real Italian theme.

Design elements at Tuscany homes in Henderson include a cobblestone roadway, landscaping accented by palm trees and wrought-iron lamp posts. These features are complemented by landmarks such as an bell tower, clock tower and an obelisk.

“We wanted an entry feature that would complement the design of the Italian themed community while making a statement at the same time. The Mediterranean and Tuscan feel of the landscape design, the cobblestone road and large, hand-crafted urns draws people into the Old World charm of Tuscany,” said Glynda Rhodes, vice president of interior and architectural design for Rhodes Homes. “The architectural and design teams worked very hard on the details to create this Tuscan-themed village.”

The Nevada golf course community, guard-gated real estate development, sits on 518 acres and is located in Henderson, Nevada real estate.
