Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS reported the inventory of townhomes, condos, and single family homes for sale in Las Vegas, Nevada in February increased.

The Las Vegas MLS shows 19,639 homes for sale on the multiple listing service, up 11 percent from 17,675 in February 2006 and up 4.6 percent from 18,774 in January. Townhomes and Condos for sale increased 8 percent to 5,524 from 5,116 in January and up from 5,216 or 34 percent from last February.

The number of new listing on the mls have dropped in the past few months with the total listings are over 25,000.

Single family homes sales dropped 21.3 percent to 1,407 homes in February from the same month a year ago.

The townhomes and condos market were off 12.9 percent in February and 42.8 percent in 2006. There were a total of 277 condo sold in February.

Southern Highlands Las Vegas Golf Club holds third consecutive Southern Highlands real estate Collegiate championship this weekend with the eighth ranked UNLV men’s golf team against some of the best including eight of the top 20 golf teams in the country.

University of Nevada at Las Vegas includes CJ Gatto, Seung-Su Han, Brett Kanda, Sam Hunt and Jarred Texter.

Today through Sunday March 11, 2007 the golf tournament in Las Vegas will include 54 holes.

The UNLV Rebels will also include individual players competing including Matt Kinsinger. Matt won the golf tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada while an individual player last year.

Summerlin Las Vegas master planned community uses public sculpture for aesthetic and cultural beauty that Summerlin real estate has represented. Summerlin is also known for its trail system, Las Vegas golf course, parks and tree lined streets. The new homes for sale in Summerlin, Nevada real estate showcases different architecture styles to define the unique community look and feel.

Archie Held, A southern California artist, has on display a 15 foot bronze sculpture at the Howard Hughes Plaza first office building. To celebrate the new corporate headquarters of The Howard Hughes Corp. had this “Unity” sculpture installed in 2001.

Sarah Winnemucca, a Northern Paiute, is the artist for two pieces of public at at The Hills Center Business Park. These pieces include a three foot bronze sculpture. National Statuary Hall in the US Capital has the original commissioned sculpture by artist Benjamin Victor to represent Nevada.
