Inspirada Las Vegas homes by Meritage Homes will hold the their grand opening May 19 – 20, 2007 in the foothills of the southern valley real estate. New model home tours at Inspirada real estate will be available for the Village Homes and Estate Homes neighborhood at the Solista Village. The third neighborhood will open later this year.

Las Vegas Convention Center will have an expansion and renovation worth $890 million. There will be an increase of real estate and convention space equaling 600,000 square feet to make the total space of 3.8 million square feet. Work should start next year with a completion date of 2010.

Changes will include modern interior design, renovated exterior and a naturally lit lobby. The increase in space will include 67% more food service, 37% of meeting space and a 78% increase in restaurant space. Both a Clark County Fire Station and a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Substation will be included in the expansion.

The New Frontier Las Vegas hotel has been sold for more than $1.2 billion. A $100 million deposit on the real estate deal was received earlier this week.

El Ad is the buyer of the 984 room New Frontier. It is expected to be demolished and in place a replica of the Plaza Hotel from New York on the Las Vegas Strip.

El Ad is an Israeli owned real estate group. This 36 acres of land transaction is the most expensive large site transaction on the Strip.

Aliante Las Vegas real estate in North Las Vegas, Nevada will be celebrating its fourth birthday on May 19, 2007. Nature Discovery Park is hosting the free fun and entertainment. There will be an Aloha Festival, Island Tyme and a fireworks display.

The developer of Aliante real estate is North Valley Enterprise along with The City of North Las Vegas will sponsor the festivities from 7 to 10 p.m. in the park. Visitors can bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. There will be food and beverages sold, too.
