Olympia Group and Boyd Gaming are jv partners for North Las Vegas hotel. This week they are planning a casino hotel in the North Las Vegas real estate in Park Highlands.

The 2,675 acre master plan community requires the approval of the North Las Vegas civic leaders for gaming. Boyd Gaming will not continue its casino on a near 40 acre gaming real estate site in Las Vegas, NV, within several miles of Park Highlands. They were to have filed the real estate plans this morning.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. plans new 1.2 million square feet convention center by 2010. The Sands Expo and Convention complex is poised for a complete replacement for an estimated total of $680 million. Since Las Vegas real estate is a leading destination for convention planners and some of the largest conventions in the country including consumer electronics, footwear and home furnishings, the 18 year old location needs the expanded and superior facilities to host the increased conventions, 45 of the top 200 America’s top trade shows in Las Vegas, NV.

Dubai World now owns half of MGM Mirage Project CityCenter Las Vegas. The Persian Gulf state investment subsidiary financially controls 9.4 percent of the MGM Mirage gaming company and 50 percent of the $8.4 billion Las Vegas Nevada real estate.

MGM Mirage joint-venture partner Dubai World received permission Tuesday from Michigan gaming regulators to increase its ownership in the casino giant to almost 15 percent.
