The Shins kicked off the summer concert series at The Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas last night. The Grammy-nominated band, comprised of frontman James Mercer, Yuuki Matthews on bass, Jessica Dobson on guitar, Richard Swift on keyboards and Joe Plummer on drums, performed a number of songs from their recently released fourth album, Port Of Morrow, including “Simple Song†and “September.â€
