UFC 64 Ultimate Fighting Championship Silva Earns Franklin Fight

UFC 64 Ultimate Fighting Championship UNSTOPPABLEUFC 64 Ultimate Fighting Championship Anderson Silva is nicknamed “Spider” because of his love Spider-Man the comic book superhero.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight Rich Franklin fights tonight in UFC 64 UNSTOPPABLE at Mandalay Bay to retain his title.

Some think Franklin is one of the UFC’s one of the best mma fighters available.

Ultimate Fighting Championship signed Silva, a Brazilian, this spring whom seems to be the only middleweight in the world to match up favorably.

UFC Silva, 31, was given a bout on June 28 against veteran Chris Leben to prove his abilities. Silva threw down Leben in 49 seconds with a throw and a jab.

Tito Ortiz TKO Over Ken Shamrock For UFC Final Chapter Oct. 10

Tito Ortiz UFCUFC Ultimate Fighting Championship Ortiz again proved his domain in the Octagon against Las Vegas UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock Oct. 10 on Spike TV “The Final Chapter.” Ken Shamrock was knocked out at 2:23 of the first round at the Seminole Hard Rock real estate. Shamrock received his walking papers for “The World’s Most Dangerous Man”.

The 42-year-old Shamrock’s career earned him a spot in the UFC’s Hall of Fame, the veteran of the first 1993 UFC Ultimate Fighting Championship was never a match for Ortiz, who defeated him in a third round 2002 TKO, and repeated the defeat in July in a bout with controversy due to an early stop that was deemed too quick by some fight insiders.

“I wish him and all the people in the UFC the best. Thanks for all the wonderful years. Congratulations to Tito Ortiz,” said a gracious Shamrock.

Shamrock Vs Ortiz In UFC SPIKE TVUFC Ultimate Fighting Championship Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock made it to the weigh-in. Shamrock brought food while Ortiz brought his attitude. Both UFC Las Vegas stars appeared to be in supreme shape for their bout at the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Florida real estate.

Ortiz, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship mma light heavyweight champ, weighed in at a light 203.5 for the third bout of his series with Shamrock, who weighed in at a 204.5 lbs ripped and showed his ease at making the weight by sipping a drink and taking a bite.

Ortiz during their first bout in November of 2002 stopped Shamrock after the third round. A rematch at UFC 61 Ultimate Fighting Challenge in July saw Ortiz halt ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man’, but the thought early stop of the game by referee Herb Dean was seen as not right by many fans, leading to Tuesday’s third bout, which will be aired live at 8pm on Spike TV.

UFC 64 Ultimate Fighting Championship Card Is Complete

UFC 64 UNSTOPPABLEUFC 64 UNSTOPPABLE Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight contender Cheick Kongo and lightweight standout Spencer Fisher will be back in the Octagon on Saturday, October 14th in bouts against fierce opposition who will be looking to have upsets on the UFC 64 UNSTOPPABLE card at the Mandalay Bay Events Center real estate in Las Vegas.

Cheick Kongo, 2-0 in the UFC since making his Octagon debut in July, wants to add another KO to his record when he battles unbeaten Carmelo ‘The Fury’ Marrero, who brings into this heavyweight showdown a 5-0 record.

With a Ultimate Fighting Championship spectacular TKO win over Matt Wiman in May, Fisher wants payback for his Miletich Fighting Systems teammate Jens Pulver when he faces Dan Lauzon, the brother of Pulver’s recent conqueror Joe Lauzon. Lauzon at 18 is the youngest competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but with an unbeaten slate in MMA mixed martial arts, ‘The Upgrade’ is eager to make his step up.
