UFC 67 ALL OR NOTHING Ultimate Fighting Championship Final Weigh Ins

Travis LutterUFC 67 ALL OR NOTHING Ultimate Fighting Championship final weigh in results at Mandalay Bay real estate in Las Vegas, Nevada. Travis Lutter, the TUF 4 winner, despite two weigh in tries, will not be challenging UFC Anderson Silva’s Middleweight Championship title tonight in the Octagon after his final weight of 186.5 pounds, a pound and a half over the 185-pound limit. Today’s UFC 67 Ultimate Fighting Championship main title match will now be a three round non-title event. Lutter’s first attempt was 187 pounds and two hours later he was only a half-pound lighter. Lutter was fined 10 percent of his purse by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. 5 percent penalty goes to Anderson Silva and 5 percent to the NSAC.

Two new UFC fighters will be added to the card. Feb. 3 at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas real estate, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Mirko “Cro Cop” will meet in the Octagon for the first time for their historic fight. UFC 66 Winner Chuck LIDDELL With TKO Over Tito Ortiz In Third Round

Liddell UFC WinnerUFC 66 Chuck Liddell Vs Tito Ortiz brought his best fighting on December 30 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. Since Tito was looking at the best UFC light heavyweight in the world, that wasn’t enough, as Chuck Liddell defended his Ultimate Fighting Championship crown for the fourth time with a third round TKO of Tito Ortiz. MGM Grand Las Vegas Garden Arena had a sell-out crowd of 14,607 in the rematch of the year.

Ortiz was a former UFC light heavyweight champion, showed courage in the UFC 66 mma main event, Liddell’s star had shown brighter tonight.

Liddell said, “This is the most satisfying win of my career,” who knocked Ortiz out in two rounds in their first MMA bout on April 2, 2004.

Ultimate Fighting Championship

Ultimate Fighting Championship is becoming a 400 lb gorilla which looks to Saturday’s Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz title bout in Las Vegas to end a blockbuster year for MMA.

The Chuck Liddell v Tito Ortiz 2 pay per view fight, with UFC officials hoping for a record MMA 1.2 million pay per view buys, will also set up the new year 2007 to see the mixed martial arts circuit expand.

Dana White, President of UFC, and the UFC pounce when they see weaknesses in the competition. The Ultimate Fighting Championship has been busy, rearranging the MMA landscape while repositioning itself to take advantage of the sport’s incredible growth.

World Fighting Alliance was purchased by UFC, snapping up its fighters in a purchase that will see the rival WFA organization stop.
