Gold Spike downtown Las Vegas NV casino sold for a cool $21 million just six months after Gregg Covin purchased the real estate. Covin made over $5 million in this commercial real estate transaction in recent Las Vegas casino news.

This real estate developer from Miami, Florida had visions of a hip and cool boutique hotel with upgraded restaurants for this downtown fixture.

John Tippins and Stephen Siegel purchased the Gold Spike hotel and casino. Seven months ago they also acquired the nearby Travel Inn for $5 million.

Palazzo Las Vegas NV Hotel had grand opening for the Shoppes and casino. Thursday night grand opening of the newest $1.9 billion Las Vegas resort opened its doors to 450,000 square feet of luxury retail mall including Barneys of New York.

A total of 34 new to market restaurants and luxury retailers opened their doors to shoppers. You’ll be able to spend $5,000 on wine from Charlie Trotters, $670 boots from Barneys and $125 T-shirts from Tory Burch.
