Falcon Ridge In The Ridges At Summerlin Offer 7 New Homes

The Ridges In SummerlinFalcon Ridge in Summerlin Las Vegas is a custom gated neighborhood in the heart of The Ridges. Seven additional custom-home sites were released for sale at Falcon Ridge real estate, the newest and sixth neighborhood to open in The Ridges at Summerlin.

Custom home sites in The Ridges range from one-third acre to over one-half acre and are priced from the $500,000s to more than $1 million, offering city and valley views, mountain, with a few adjacent to Bear’s Best Las Vegas, a Jack Nicklaus-designed Las Vegas golf course. Many of the luxury and custom Las Vegas homes offer golf course frontage. The Ridges homes for sale in Summerlin along the western border of the neighborhood are close to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Falcon Ridge homes for sale offers 60 sites, with less than 25 percent remaining. Fewer than 15 Summerlin homes for sale remain.

Red Rock Residences At Red Rock Resort Is Dead

Red Rock CondosRed Rock Residences at Red Rock Resort Las Vegas by Station Casinos has scrapped a Red Rock real estate high-rise condominium development in Summerlin Las Vegas after the company’s partnership with a pair of Las Vegas condo developers dissolved.

Scott Nielson, Station Casinos‘ chief development officer, said Wednesday the company is looking at various alternatives for the five-acre parcel in Summerlin Centre, south of Red Rock Resort Las Vegas and near a planned outdoor shopping mall.

However, he didn’t count the Red Rock Residences condo project out of the picture.

“We need to consider what is the best use for that site,” Nielson said. “We’re not saying the condos won’t be built, but we have to consider all our alternatives for that real estate.”

Summerlin Las Vegas Master Plan Nears Halfway Point

Summerlin Las VegasSummerlin Las Vegas is home to more than 93,000 residents who live in more than 37,600 homes, townhouses, condominiums and apartments. Nearly 22,000 people work in Summerlin’s business parks, retail centers, schools and medical centers.

Summerlin, Nevada community still has more than 7,500 of its 22,500 acres left to develop with completion scheduled for 2020. Of the 30 villages Summerlin Las Vegas will have at build-out, 11 are complete and eight are under active development.

“The majority of Summerlin Las Vegas future real estate development will occur in the community’s southern and western regions,” Orrock said. “What many don’t realize is that Summerlin’s southern tip extends well beyond Russell Road and that its western boundary is formed by the Red Rock National Conservation Area that The Howard Hughes Corp. helped establish in the late 1980s via a real estate land exchange with the Bureau of Land Management.

Summerlin, Nevada began as a 25,000-acre parcel purchased by the legendary Howard Robard Hughes Jr. in the mid-1950s along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley.

In the late 1980s, the community’s boundaries were further defined by the sale of land to other developers who went on to develop the adjacent communities of The Lakes, Peccole Ranch, Desert Shores and South Shores.
