Summerlin Land Is Nevada Bill Topic For 80 Acres Of Cancer Research

Summerlin land is the topic of a bill introduced by Nevada lawmakers this week asking for 80 acres of federal land in Summerlin real estate for medical officer, park, and a cancer treatment and research center.
This bill is sponsored by Sen. John Ensign, Rep. Shelley Berkley, and co-sponsored by three other Nevada members of Congress. They are asking for more space so cancer patients can get their needed treatments.
The intersction of Hualapai Way and Alta Drive, under this bill, would be moved to the city of Las Vegas for smaller parcels made in a Nevada Cancer Institute satellite campus.
Las Vegas would like to transfer 24.4 acres Summerlin real estate controlled by the Bureau of Land Management located at Town Center Road and I 215.
